9-42 - A slightly lighter string, that is easier on the fingers, and easier to bend. You may lose a little bit of 'fullness' in your tone since the gauge is slightly lighter. Great for beginner's or sensitive fingers, or players who just like that lighter feeling :) (THIS LISTING)

10-46 - This is most likely what came on your electric guitar new. A perfect balance of light enough gauge for easy playing, but thick enough to give you a nice rich and full tone. (SEE OTHER LISTING)
